Clear Fork Valley Local Schools is initiating a comprehensive strategic planning process to establish a clear vision and mission for the district, with a new strategic plan implementation scheduled for August 1, 2026. A strategic plan ensures that district goals are intentional, data-informed, and aligned with the values and priorities of the community it serves.
Through strategic planning, school districts are better positioned to prioritize student achievement and success, strengthen instructional and support systems, and make thoughtful decisions about resources, programming, and staffing. A well-developed plan also promotes accountability and transparency by clearly defining goals, measuring progress, and aligning daily work with long-term outcomes. Most importantly, it creates a shared roadmap that unites educators, families, and community members around a common purpose.
To ensure broad input and meaningful engagement, the Clear Fork Valley Board of Education will utilize a multi-step, collaborative process. The work will begin with partner surveys, each tailored to gather feedback from specific stakeholder groups, including educators, support staff, parents and families, and community members. Survey results will help identify district strengths, priorities, and areas of opportunity.
Following the survey phase, the district will facilitate focus groups and engage both internal and external partners to further explore themes emerging from the data and to gain deeper insight into district needs and aspirations. The Board will then participate in work sessions designed to thoughtfully analyze the information collected and collaboratively design and create a strategic plan that reflects shared goals and clearly defined priorities.
The result of this inclusive process will be a strategic plan that serves all students, focuses on student achievement and success, enhances educational programming, and continues to positively impact the Clear Fork Valley community.
By investing time and care into this strategic planning process, the Board of Education reaffirms its commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and responsible stewardship—ensuring Clear Fork Valley Local Schools is well-positioned for success now and into the future.
