The High School PBIS spring challenge focused on having no missing assignments. Today, students who met the challenge by going into spring break with zero missing assignments were rewarded with a cookout!

The CFHS PBIS Student Leadership Team attended a Leadership Event at MOESC, where they worked on sharpening their skills and learning from motivational keynote speakers Dr. Jim Mahoney and OHSAA Executive Director Doug Ute (CF Valley Alum!).

The Clear Fork High School 2026 McGowan Courage Award recipient was Xander Frederick. This award comes from the Mansfield Rotary Club and is awarded to a graduating senior who has demonstrated courage, resilience and character. Despite the setback of losing his senior year of sports due to an injury, he remained present and supportive to his peers, and continued forward with purpose. Xander’s true character shines in his care for others, while facing every challenge or task in front of him without hesitation or complaint. He has also shown tremendous literacy growth during his work with Mrs. Phillips, due to his true grit, perseverance, and motivation to succeed. Well deserved, Congratulations!

Good Evening,
I want to start off by thanking everyone for their patience and cooperation today. The number one goal was to keep student safety at the forefront. As a result of local law enforcement, staff, students and administrators working together, we were able to attain just that.
We are so grateful for our partnership with the Richland County Sheriff's Department and local law enforcement for our continued partnership and for keeping all of us safe. As the process began, administration cooperated with local law enforcement to begin the evacuation process out of an abundance of caution. Students were Transported to Storyside Church and attendance was taken to ensure the accounting of all students prior to student release. Once the “all-clear” was given, students were transported on their afternoon bus routes and parent pickup began.
Thank you again, for your patience and cooperation today.
Go Colts!

Good Afternoon,
For students that have personal belongings that they would like to collect from the MS/HS, the buildings will be open tonight from 5:00-7:00 to allow for items to be retrieved.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Clear Fork Families:
We are pleased to share that law enforcement has given the "all clear" for our HS/MS campus. Student safety remains our primary focus, and we appreciate your continued support.
Transportation & Dismissal Details:
Bus Riders:
If your HS/MS student normally rides the bus, they will board at StorySide Church. These buses will then proceed to pick up elementary students and follow their normal afternoon routes home.
Parent Pick-Ups:
Once the buses have departed StorySide, parents may pick up their HS/MS students at the church for the afternoon.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout the afternoon.
If your MS/HS student normally rides the bus in the afternoon, they will be put on their afternoon bus at Storyside to go get elementary afternoon bus riders and be sent home on their normal route.
Clear Fork Families,
We have been notified by the Bellville Local Police Department of a potential threat involving the HS/MS campus. While the validity of the threat is being investigated, we took immediate and proactive measures by evacuating all students and staff to StorySide Church.
This step is being taken solely out of an abundance of caution to ensure the campus is entirely secure. Please note the following adjusted dismissal plans for today:
Elementary Schools: Due to the timing of this event and bus availability, elementary dismissal will be delayed until approximately 3:40 PM. Parent pick-ups may arrive at their normal time.
HS/MS Bus Riders: Students will be dismissed on their normal afternoon routes directly from StorySide Church.
HS/MS Student Drivers: We are working with the transportation department to safely return all student drivers to the HS/MS campus to retrieve their vehicles as soon as the "all clear" is given.
HS/MS Parent Pick-ups: Parents may meet their students at StorySide Church (unless otherwise notified of a return to campus).
Please be prepared for potential delays as we work through these safety protocols. We are committed to providing further updates as soon as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in keeping our students and staff safe.
We appreciate our Clear Fork High School Principals and all they do each and every day!

Next week is Teacher's Appreciation week at Bellville! Check out these fun PTO sponsored activities for next week in honor of our great teachers and staff!
