🚌 Bus Evacuation Drills

Today, Butler Elementary students participated in a bus evacuation drill as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping everyone safe. Students practiced how to safely and calmly exit the bus in the event of an emergency and reviewed the importance of listening carefully to the bus driver and following directions.

We are proud of our students for taking the drill seriously and demonstrating safe bus behaviors. These practice drills help ensure that students know what to do and can respond appropriately should an emergency situation ever occur.

Thank you to Mrs. Wood and her team of bus drivers and staff for helping our students learn and practice these important safety procedures!

Thanks to the Richland County Foundation, Butler Elementary students are bringing Minecraft to life in STEM class—without a screen! Using Minecraft blocks, students are designing, building, problem-solving, and working together to create their own structures.

This hands-on activity encourages creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and engineering skills while showing students that STEM learning can happen anywhere—even without technology! 🚀🧱💡

We appreciate Mrs. Eder, STEM teacher, for taking the time to apply for a grant with the Richland County Foundation to build her STEM program.

Both the Freshman Class and the Senior Class had meetings today which included information on how to purchase items from Jostens. Freshman received information on class rings and the seniors received information on caps/gowns, announcements, and spirit wear. See the pictures for more details on how to place orders.

Snow Trails season passes go on sale on Wednesday. All CF students, families, and community members may purchase passes through us. The discount will be good through December 1st. The high school ski club will also be taking a trip again this year with the resort and date to be determined.
